Agree with you docking is one off the most stressfull part for beginer... been able to practice would be great,,,, but if it ever happen this would have to be as close as possible off the real thing with wind and gust from diffrernt direction ,,,prop walk etc,,,other wise if it far from reality you could induce bad habit....... if it docking with inboard engine... if it undersail is is even more difficult when it gusting.... this would have to be done from different senario,,,,even if you dock at the same place it never the same,,,,du to weather...stress...fatigues etc,,,

This sounds like a great feature. Docking is critical when sailing for real and being able to practice in VR would be awesome. I could see real-world clubs using this as a qualifier for being ready to skipper a boat.

maneuvering a large yacht can be a daunting task. It takes a lot of practice and confidence. I think this game could be a great way for people to learn to move in and out of ports with large yachts. I think this also brings in another idea of being able to teach some sailing knots for people eager to learn. It could be a great way to have some fun with different approaches to refueling stations or slots.
