You can start testing. Enter via "Lobby -> Yacht -> Co op / match racing".

Starting to work on this, this week. Planning to use "Lobby Room" as a place to configure a session. For now, co-op will be for yachts.

We now have a multiplayer "lobby". It is not a co-op yet, but it is a safe place to meet and have a chat. Might be a good place to explain how to sail, before jumping into a multiplayer race directly from the lobby. In the future, lobby will allow players to pick boats for co-op multiplayer.

it would be nice to have a 420/Laser 2 style boat, they arent big, but they are 2 people boats, they are pretty fun

- How should co-op work?
- In what game modes it should be available?
- How would you feel about this setup: "Captain" can create activity and gets a unique code to share. "Crew" can join the activity, if it exists.
- Who should get "ranked" ( only captain or crew as well? )
- Can crew enter / exit while activity is in progress?
- What happens, if captain exits during activity?
- Why would captain want a crew to join?
- Why would crew want to join as crew?
BoatBrain
Greg Dziemidowicz: all good questions.
- I think this would only work for the large boats. no need for a crew on a dingy. perhaps it's a separate series?
- maybe the "Captain" can choose whether he can just let anyone join as crew or have a "private" code to share.
- maybe the captain gets ranked but crew gets some kind of additional points for participation. or they just split it if it's part of the separate muliplayer series?
- I say yes they can enter at any time but not exit till after the race. i.e. no sore losers but I have no idea how you can really enforce that. lol.
- if the captain jumps ship the crew just takes over (just like in real life!) similarly if the crew abandons ship the captain just runs the boat..
- more fun to sail with friends and share what they know/teach.
- so they can learn more especially as newbies, team sport. etc.

So Big Breezy Boat has co-op multiplayer - would love to hear your thoughts and feedback: https://www.oculus.com/experiences/quest/1810162435763179/
Do we still need it in the MarineVerse Cup?
Should it be exactly the same? ( If not, how should it be different? )

I think this would be great and make multiplayer have more participation. could even make it to where you just have a 2 boat race and then people can jump into a game even after the match has started or leave before it ends. basically just have it such that matches are just on a rotation (new race starts just after the last one ended) and if there is one person in multiplayer they just race a bot until others join the room so to speak (similar to Hyperdash or AimXR). rather than just sitting around at the start line waiting and hoping people will show up to race. could make multiple crew positions to accommodate more people.
